Secretary Norton To Announce
FY 2004 Interior Budget on Feb. 3

(WASHINGTON)--Secretary Gale Norton will provide an overview of the Administration's proposed FY 2004 budget for the Department of the Interior at a 1 p.m. briefing in the auditorium of the Main Interior Building on Monday, Feb. 3, 2003.

The Secretary's remarks will precede a presentation by Assistant Secretary Lynn Scarlett and other Interior officials. A question-and-answer session will follow. Bureau representatives will then be available to answer more detailed questions. The confer-ence will be broadcast live by satellite. Close circuit captioning will be provided.

News media representatives should enter the C Street side of the Main Interior Building, present identification, and sign in at the media information desk to receive budget briefing material. Those who need to set up equipment should arrive early.
