Secretary Norton to Address the Gateway Conference on Tourism
and Conservation in New Mexico, Dec. 4

WASHINGTON -- Secretary of the Interior Gale Norton will travel to Santa Ana Pueblo, N.M., Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2002, to address the Gateway Community Partnerships for Tourism and Conservation Conference. The Secretary's remarks will focus on public-private partnerships, including the President's Healthy Forest Initiative, designed to improve stewardship of public lands and gateway communities where there are common interests in working together.
