Secretary Babbitt to Hold Public Meeting to Discuss
Craters of the Moon Monument National Monument, June 23

Secretary of the Interior Bruce Babbitt will hold a public meeting in Rupert, Idaho Friday, June 23, 2000, at 11:45 a.m., to discuss Craters of the Moon National Monument. The public meeting will be held in the library of East Minico Junior High School, located at 805 H Street.

"I promised that I would return and continue our dialogue on Craters of the Moon National Monument," said Babbitt. "We've had several productive meetings and I look forward to working with you and discussing this issue."

Immediately following the meeting, the Secretary will make himself available to the press for questions.
