SECRETARY-GENERAL PAYS TRIBUTE TO MEMBERS OF HOSPITALITY COMMITTEE FOR UN DELEGATIONS
Following is the text of the video message by Secretary-General Kofi Annan to the Hospitality Committee for United Nations Delegations:
For five decades, the Hospitality Committee for the United Nations Delegations has been a valued member of the United Nations community.� Its wide-ranging work has helped delegates better serve their countries and contributed to mutual understanding among peoples and nations.
I pay tribute to the members of the Hospitality Committee, past and present, for their outstanding record of public service and commitment to the ideals and objectives of the United Nations.� Congratulations, everybody -- and may you keep going strong for many years to come.
