Security Council
Kishore Mahbubani, Permanent Representative of Singapore, succeeds Sergey Lavrov, Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation, as President of the Security Council.
Military Staff Committee
Air Vice Marshall John H. Thompson (United Kingdom) succeeds Lieutenant General Nikolay M. Uvarov (Russian Federation) as Chairman of the Military Staff Committee.
