In accordance with the principle of alphabetical rotation, the following are the President of the United Nations Security Council and Chairman of the Military Staff Committee for February:

Security Council

Adolfo Aguilar Zinser, Permanent Representative of Mexico, succeeds Jagdish Koonjul, Permanent Representative of Mauritius, as President of the Security Council.

Military Staff Committee

Major General Chen Feng (China) succeeds Lieutenant General George W. Casey (United States) as Chairman of the Military Staff Committee.
