Secretary-General CONDEMNS TEL AVIV SUICIDE BOMBING
The following statement was issued tonight by the Office of the Spokesman of Secretary-General Kofi Annan:
The Secretary-General is horrified by the suicide bombing that occurred in Tel Aviv late on Friday night. He condemns this indiscriminate terrorist attack in the strongest possible terms. This horrible event underlines the urgency of breaking the cycle of violence.
The Secretary-General extends his heartfelt condolences to all the families affected by this tragedy.
