ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL COUNCIL ELECTS VICE-PRESIDENT
In a short organizational meeting this afternoon, the Economic and Social Council elected by acclamation Francisco Seixas da Costa (Portugal) as its Vice-President whose term of office expires at the end of the year.� Mr. Seixas da Costa has replaced Antonio Monteiro as Permanent Representative of Portugal.
