NEW CHAIRMEN OF UNITED NATIONS SECURITY BODIES IN JULY

In accordance with the principle of alphabetical rotation, the following are the new Chairmen of the United Nations security bodies for July:

Security Council

M. Patricia Durrant (Jamaica) succeeds Jean-David Levitte (France) as President of the Security Council.

Military Staff Committee

Major General Jean-Francois Louvion (France) succeeds Major General Chen Fuyuan (China) as Chairman of the Military Staff Committee.
