NEW CHAIRMEN OF UNITED NATIONS SECURITY BODIES IN JUNE

In accordance with the principle of alphabetical rotation, the following are the new Chairmen of the United Nations security bodies for June:

Security Council

Jean-David Levitte (France) succeeds Wang Yingfan (China) as President of the Security Council.

Military Staff Committee

Major General Chen Fuyuan (China) succeeds Lieutenant General Edward G. Anderson (United States) as Chairman of the Military Staff Committee.
