NEW CHAIRMEN OF UNITED NATIONS SECURITY BODIES IN FEBRUARY

In accordance with the principle of alphabetical rotation, the following are the new Chairmen of the United Nations security bodies for February:

Security Council

Arnoldo Manuel Listre (Argentina) succeeds Richard Holbrooke (United States) as President of the Security Council.

Military Staff Committee

Major General Jean-Fran�ois Louvion (France) succeeds Major General Chen Fuyuan (China) as Chairman of the Military Staff Committee.
