NOTE TO CORRESPONDENTS AMIR OF BAHRAIN TO VISIT HEADQUARTERS, 29 MAY 19980528(Based on information received from the Protocol and Liaison Service.) Shaikh Isa Bin Salman Al-Khalifa, Amir of Bahrain, will visit Headquarters on Friday, 29 May, to confer with Secretary-General Kofi Annan. The Amir and his party will arrive at the Secretariat Entrance at 5:30 p.m., where he will be received by the Secretary-General. They will proceed by special elevator to the thirty-eighth floor, where they will confer in the Secretary-General's office. Following their meeting, the Amir will proceed to the elevator, where the Secretary-General will bid him farewell. The Amir will then be escorted by the Chief of Protocol to the Secretariat Entrance, where he will leave the building. * *** *
