YUGOSLAVIA SANCTIONS COMMITTEE ELECTS BUREAU FOR 1998 19980403The following was issued today by the Security Council Committee established by resolution 1160 (1998) concerning the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia:By paragraph 9 of its resolution 1160 (1998) of 31 March, the Security Council established a Committee, composed of all members of the Council, in order to undertake the tasks specified in that resolution. On 3 April, the President of the Security Council, Hisashi Owada (Japan), convened the first meeting of the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1160 (1998) to elect its Bureau for 1998.
