PRESIDENT OF ALBANIA TO VISIT HEADQUARTERS ON 3 FEBRUARY

The President of Albania, Rexhep Mejdani, will visit Headquarters on Tuesday, 3 February, to meet with Secretary-General Kofi Annan.

President Mejdani and his party will arrive at the Secretariat Entrance at 11 a.m., where he will be received by the Secretary-General. The President, accompanied by the Secretary-General and escorted by the Chief of Protocol, Nadia Younes, will proceed by special elevator to the thirty-eighth floor and to the office of the Secretary-General.

Following his meeting with the Secretary-General, President Mejdani, escorted by the Chief of Protocol, will proceed by special elevator to the second floor. At 11:30 a.m. the President will hold a press conference in room 226. Following the press conference, he will proceed to Studio 2 for an interview.

The President will leave Headquarters after the interview, by the Secretariat Entrance.
