NEW CHAIRMEN OF UNITED NATIONS SECURITY BODIES IN DECEMBER 19961129In accordance with the principle of alphabetical rotation, the following new Chairmen of United Nations security bodies will take office on 1 December:Security Council Francesco Paolo Fulci (Italy) succeeds Nugroho Wisnumurti (Indonesia) as President of the Security Council. Military Staff Committee Rear Admiral David Anthony James Blackburn (United Kingdom) succeeds Major-General Valery Nikitovich Demin (Russian Federation) as Chairman of the Military Staff Committee. * *** * * Revised to include the nationality of the Security Council President.
