GENERAL ASSEMBLY POSTPONES ACTION ON FIFTH COMMITTEE TEXTS, CONCLUSION OF SESSION 19960916The General Assembly this afternoon, at the recommendation of its President, Diogo Freitas do Amoral (Portugal), postponed the final meeting of its fiftieth session until 10 a.m. tomorrow, 17 September.According to the President, the postponement was made necessary by the lack of documentation and the lateness of the hour. The Assembly had been scheduled to take action on a number of reports and draft texts from its Fifth Committee (Administrative and Budgetary) before concluding its session. The Assembly is now scheduled to convene its fifty-first session at 3 p.m. tomorrow, 17 September. * *** *
