FIFTH COMMITTEE RECOMMENDS APPROPRIATION OF $63.6 MILLION FOR CRIMINAL TRIBUNALS, $1.4 BILLION FOR PEACE-KEEPING

On page 13 of Press Release GA/AB/3081 issued on 3 June, the third and fourth sentences of the statement by AHMAD AL-HARIRI (Syria) should read:

"The financing of the Force must be borne by Israel, whose aggressive actions had brought the Force into existence. His delegation voted in favour of paragraph 7 on the understanding that the damage suffered by the UNIFIL headquarters in Lebanon must be borne by Israel, in accordance with the General Assembly's resolution on the matter."
