UP TO 1,500 ANIMAL BREEDS ARE AT RISK OF EXTINCTION, FAO WARNS CORRECTION

The last sentence of Press Release FAO/3628 of 5 December should be corrected to read as follows:

"So far, about 50 countries in Europe, Asia and the Pacific have nominated national coordinators."
