NO REQUEST BY SECRETARY-GENERAL TO POSTPONE DRAFT ON NIGERIA 19951130The following statement was issued today by the Spokesman for Secretary- General Boutros Boutros-Ghali:It has been brought to our attention that the Nigerian Mission to the United Nations is distributing a letter which alleges that the Secretary- General has requested the sponsors of a draft resolution on Nigeria, to postpone the tabling of the draft resolution in the Third Committee (Social, Humanitarian and Cultural), until the outcome of his initiative on the matter. I would like to categorically state that the Secretary-General has not made, and is not planning to make, such a request. * *** *
