Pew Hispanic Center Latino Population Projections for Release Tuesday, October 14

WASHINGTON, Oct. 10 - The Pew Hispanic Center will release new population projections for the Latino population on Tuesday, October 14, 2003. Developed by Jeffrey S. Passel, a veteran demographer and principal research associate at the Population Studies Center of the Urban Institute, the projections identify important trends in the growth patterns of the Hispanic population.

The report will be released at 1:30 pm EDT on Tuesday, October 14 with a telephone press briefing by Passel and Roberto Suro, the Center's director.
