Secretary Elaine L. Chao, in conjunction with the American Enterprise Institute, will host a conference on the importance of strong productivity in the American economy on Wednesday, Oct. 23 at the American Enterprise Institute in Washington, D.C. Secretary Chao and the American Enterprise Institute will bring together business leaders, economists and senior government officials for thoughtful discussion of the impact of productivity gains on the U.S. economy, jobs and living standards. Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan will present his views on productivity and the U.S. Economy.
