More than 500 Breast Cancer activists are coming to Washington, D.C. for crash course in breast cancer activism May 3-6.

WHAT: The National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund's 11th Annual Advocacy Conference

WHEN: Saturday, May 3, through Tuesday, May 6, 2003

WHERE: The Renaissance Hotel, Washington, DC (999 9th Street, NW)

The National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund's (NBCCF) Annual Advocacy Training Conference trains participants from around the world to be effective breast cancer activists. After three days of skill-building workshops on the science and politics of breast cancer, attendees go to Capitol Hill to lobby their Congress members on substantive breast cancer legislation. This year's keynote speaker is Christine Todd Whitman, administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
