Sen. Joseph Biden (D-Del.) and other Congressional leaders will introduce new legislation to set aside $45 million in funds to protect women and children impacted by conflicts around the world.

Original co-sponsors of the legislation include Sen. Biden, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), Rep. Nita Lowey, Rep. Chris Shays (R-Conn.), Rep. Tom Lantos (D-Calif.) and Rep. Cass Ballenger (R-N.C.).

Save the Children officials and supporters--including actress Sally Field and commentator Cokie Roberts--will join members of Congress in discussing the need for the legislation as well as key findings of a new report identifying the world's most dangerous war zones for women and children
