
National Urban League Unveils 2004 State of Black America Report; Report Includes Annual Equality Index and National Attitude Survey 3/2/2004

Annual report on African Americans includes two new features: The Equality Index and National Attitude Survey. The Equality Index uses statistical data to measure disparities between blacks and whites in economic development and housing, education, health, civic engagement and racial equality. The National Attitude Survey polls blacks, Latinos and Asians nationwide on key issues this election season. Morial will introduce the report; Dr. Spriggs will address the findings of the Equality Index and Dr. Lee will analyze the National Attitude Survey poll results.
