DETAILS: Independent living training vouchers help older youth leaving foster care get the higher education, vocational training, and other education supports they need to become self-sufficient.

Participants: Former foster care youth who have faced challenges transitioning out of care. Many youth lose the supports offered by the foster care system when they reach age 18, or graduate from high school.
