EPA and Battelle Conduct ETV Homeland Security Technology Field Day

The U.S. EPA's new National Homeland Security Research Center, located in Cincinnati, and Battelle invite you to attend a Technology Field Day at Battelle's headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. The event will include a demonstration of water monitoring technologies for homeland security applications and will feature speakers from the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency.

WHAT: The Technology Field Day, sponsored by EPA's Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) Program in conjunction with the Agency's National Homeland Security Research Center (NHSRC), will highlight the first verification of technologies applicable to meeting the Nation's homeland security needs. The verification test, which began Monday, will produce data that will be used to evaluate the performance of technologies that measure cyanide in drinking water. Six technologies from five vendors will be displayed and demonstrated. The event will last approximately two hours.
