Academically Qualified Hispanic Students Still Face Tough Obstacles on Road to College According to New Focus Group Research

SAN JOSE, Calif., June 11 -- The National Center for Public Policy and Higher Education today released "With Diploma in Hand: Hispanic High School Seniors Talk About Their Future."

This report, prepared by Public Agenda, highlights the findings from focus groups conducted in several states to better understand the gap between the high educational aspirations of Hispanic parents for their children and the low educational attainment of Hispanic students.
