
Urban Institute to Release Report on Characteristics of Illinois Prisoners Released in 2001 4/16/2003

The research includes specific neighborhoods in Chicago that receive the greatest number of ex-prisoners. WHO: The report was prepared by the Urban Institute, a nonprofit, nonpartisan policy research and educational organization based in Washington, D.C. The report is the first report in a larger initiative that will evaluate the impact of prisoner reentry in Illinois.
