National Advisory Committee on Ergonomics to Meet in Washington May 11-12 4/28/2004
From: Bill Wright of the U.S. Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, 202-693-1999 WASHINGTON, April 28 -- The National Advisory Committee on Ergonomics (NACE) has scheduled its fifth public meeting in Washington, May 11-12. NACE is chartered to advise the Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health on issues related to guidelines, research, and outreach and assistance on ergonomics- related injuries in the workplace. The working groups are scheduled to meet from 1-5 p.m., on Tuesday, May 11. The full committee will meet on Wednesday, May 12 from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. The meetings will be held at the Holiday Inn on the Hill, 415 New Jersey Avenue, NW, Washington, D.C. OSHA representatives are scheduled to address the committee on the morning of May 12. Immediately following, the working groups on Research, Guidelines, and Outreach will report to the full Committee and lead discussions on their respective topics.
