Co- authors Jeff Krehely and Meaghan House will discuss the state and national implications of this grantmaking and other important findings of this report. Major findings about Colorado conservative grantmaking and receiving: -- Top Colorado grantmakers include the Castle Rock Foundation, Ruth and Vernon Taylor Foundation, and The Anschutz Foundation. Their combined conservative giving from 1999-2001 totals $4,826,932. -- Colorado ranks third nationwide in combined conservative foundation assets. Assets equal $838,646,720, which is 11.4 percent of assets nationwide. -- Top Colorado grant recipients include: Focus on the Family, Mountain States Legal Foundation, Independence Institute, and the Republican Leadership Program.
