
National Urban League Unveils The State of Black America 2004 Report: 'The Complexity of Black Progress' 3/23/2004

The premiere annual report on the status of African Americans shows stark disparities between blacks and whites via two new features: The Equality Index and NUL Survey. The Equality Index uses statistical data to measure disparities between blacks and whites in five key areas: economic development, education, health, civic engagement and social justice. The NUL Survey polls blacks, Latinos and Asians nationwide on key issues this election season. WHO: Marc H.
