In the wake of the 2002 corporate scandals, Congress, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and the stock exchanges all have adopted reforms aimed at preventing a recurrence of high-level misdeeds.

This roundtable discussion, featuring some of the nation's leading financial experts, will assess whether the reforms have been adequate, and what additional measures, if any, are required to restore investor confidence in the system of corporate governance.

Robert Litan, vice president and director of the Economic Studies program at the Brookings Institution, will present the conclusions of a new book he has co-authored, Following The Money: The Enron Failure and the State of Corporate Disclosure, which assesses the future of corporate disclosure.

Following the presentation and other remarks, panelists will answer questions from the audience.
