
AARP'S 'Wise Use Of Medications' Campaign To Help Consumers Save Money, Improve Health 4/16/2002

This campaign, supported by the National Association of Chain Drug Stores, American Pharmaceutical Association and others, will increase awareness about the importance of using medications wisely. The objective of the campaign is for consumers to save money and get the full benefits from the prescriptions they take. AARP will also release the results of a new study on prescription drug use among Americans Age 45-plus. AARP's "Wise Use of Medications" campaign will be launched at a 10 a.m. press conference, on Thursday, April 18 at AARP Headquarters, 601 E Street, N.W. in Washington.
