The U.S. EPA's National Homeland Security Research Center, located in Cincinnati, invites media to attend a Congressional Briefing and Memoranda of Understanding Signings with the U.S. Air Force and the Food and Drug Administration.

WHO: -- Senator George Voinovich -- Congressman Rob Portman, 2nd District -- Congressman Steve Chabot, 1st District -- Congressman David Hobson, 7th District -- Congressman Michael Turner, 3rd District -- Dr. Mark McClellan, Commissioner, Food & Drug Administration -- Maj. Gen.Paul Nielsen, Commander, U.S. Air Force Research Lab

WHAT: The purpose of the event is to provide an update on EPA's research efforts in support of the President's Homeland Security program. The event will begin with a private briefing for senior officials, a laboratory tour, an all-employee meeting and the MOU signings. The event will feature remarks from members of Congress and other officials. Press availability to follow.
