Once again, health care costs are increasing at double-digit rates. High medical inflation leads employers to ask employees to contribute more toward their health benefits or to drop coverage altogether. States are finding it harder to balance their budgets against rising Medicaid costs as Congress struggles to expand Medicare benefits.

Hear the latest findings from AHRQ-sponsored research on the drivers of health care costs and possible solutions Tuesday, October 1:
