CHICAGO, Feb. 20 -- The following physicians have joined the medical staff of Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove:

Miguel G. Camara, M.D., allergy and immunology, received his medical degree at the University of The East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center, Philippines. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Hawaii Integrated Medical Residency Training Program, Honolulu, Hawaii. He completed his fellowship in allergy-immunology at the National Jewish Center for Immunology and Respiratory Medicine, Denver, Colorado. Dr. Camara resides in Hinsdale.

Suman Kaur, M.D., internal medicine, received his medical degree from Punjabi University Medical College, Patiala, India. He completed his residency in the Internal Medicine Postgraduate Institute, Chandigarh, India and University of Cincinnati Medical Center, Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Kaur resides in Hinsdale.

Satheesh Muppavarapu, M.D., orthopaedics, received his medical degree at Andhra University, India. Completed an internship in internal medicine at Gov. General Hospital,Guntur, India. Completed his residency in orthopedics at the Safdarjang Hospital, New Delhi, India, Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh, India and from Loyola University Medical Center, Chicago. Dr. Muppavarapu resides in Lombard.

James L. Stone, M.D., F.A.C.S., neurosurgery, received medical training at St. Louis University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in neurology at the University of Illinois, Chicago. Completed another residency in surgery and neurology at Cook County Hospital. Dr. Stone resides in Evanston.

James R. Carroll, M.D., cardiology, received his medical training at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Chicago, Illinois. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Loyola University Medical Center, Maywood, Illinois. A fellowship in cardiology from the University of Michigan Medical Center, Ann Arbor, Michigan, another fellowship in interventional cardiology from the University of Maryland Medical Center, Baltimore, MD and from University of Illinois. Dr. Carroll resides in Chicago.

Jeffrey J. Berti, M.D., dermatology, received his medical training at the University of Illinois, College of Medicine at Rockford. He completed his residency in dermatology and dermatology Surgery at University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Association, Madison, Wisconsin. Dr. Berti resides in Willowbrook.

Meike Lian Uhler, M.D., endocrinology, received his medical training at Tulane University School of Medicine, New Orleans, Louisiana. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Northwestern University School of Medicine Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Uhler resides in Woodridge.

Brian Alan Smart, M.D., allergy and immunology, received his medical training at Duke University School of Medicine, Durham, N.C. He completed his residency in pediatrics at St. Louis Children's Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Smart resides in Buffalo Grove.

Michael A. Peterson, M.D., cardiology, received his medical training at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital, Minneapolis, Minnesota. He completed his fellowships in cardiovascular from Washington Hospital Center & Cardiovascular Research Foundation, Washington, District of Columbia and another fellowship in clinical electrophysiology from The Mayo Clinic St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, Minnesota. Douglas A. Tomasian, M.D., cardiology, received his medical training at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, Pa. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Northwestern University Medical School, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago, IL and a fellowship in cardiology from Boston University School of Medicine, Boston Medical Center, Boston, MA.

Karolyn D. Law, M.D., F.A.A.P., pediatrics, received her medical training from Rush Medical College, Rush Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center, Chicago, IL. She completed her residency in pediatrics from Loyola University Medical School. Dr. Law resides in Park Ridge.

Marie Kirincic, M.D., orthopaedics, received her medical training from Palacky University, College of Medicine, Olomouc, Moravia, Czeck Republic. She completed her residency in orthopaedics and rehabilitation at Loyola University Medical Center. Dr. Kirincic resides in Glen Ellyn.

Paul E. Papierski, M.D., orthopaedics, received his medical training from the University of Illinois at Chicago-HSC. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at University of Illinois and Affiliated Hospitals, Dept. of Orthopaedics and an internship in general surgery from University of Illinois and Affiliated Hospitals.
