
3800 Firefighters, Lung Transplant Patients, Visually Impaired & Weekend Athletes Race Up Chicago John Hancock Center Sunday 2/27/2004

WHEN: Sunday, Feb. 29, starting at 7 a.m. WHERE: John Hancock Center, 875 N. Michigan, Chicago WHY: More than one million people in the Chicago area suffer from some form of lung disease -- more than 110,000 children have asthma. Firefighters have a high incidence of respiratory disease. Proceeds support the American Lung Association's education, research and community programs including camps for asthmatic children.
