Cato Institute to Co-Sponsor Social Security and African Americans Conference on March 19

As the spectrum of Social Security reform proposals continue to generate debate, the National Black Chamber of Commerce and the Cato Institute will co-sponsor on March 19 an all-day conference on "Social Security and African Americans." The conference will examine how various reform proposals will impact the African American community.

Leading experts from across the ideological spectrum will discuss and debate how Social Security can best provide retirement security for African-Americans.
