ACR Annual Meeting to Feature Cutting-Edge Education Programs on Molecular Imaging, Genetics

The ACR's 80th Annual Meeting and Chapter Leadership Conference, scheduled for May 10-15 at the Hilton Washington and Towers in Washington, D.C., offers two highly anticipated education sessions with many of radiology and health care's most respected experts.

On May 10, the meeting will feature the ACR/ASTRO Molecular Imaging 2003 Conference. Co-chaired by Ralph Weissleder, M.D., Ph.D., of Massachusetts General Hospital and William T. Sause, M.D., of LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, this daylong conference will highlight one of the most exciting topics in radiology and health care today. The meeting will feature 13 of the nation's leading experts in the field representing the nation's finest health care research facilities.

On May 14, the ACR will present the 2003 Moreton Lecture, "Genomics, Medicine and Society." The lecture will be delivered by Francis S. Collins, M.D., Ph.D., director of the National Human Genome Research Institute at the National Institutes of Health and a nationally recognized authority on this progressive topic.
