Focus on the Family Available to Comment on Mass. Gay Marriages; Ministry Has Satellite Studio for Live TV Interviews on May 17

Focus on the Family marriage and public-policy experts will be available for print, radio and television interviews on Monday, May 17 -- to discuss the expected issuance of marriage licenses to gay couples in Massachusetts.

The international ministry, a key player in the nationwide effort to pass the Federal Marriage Amendment, has been closely involved in the fight to preserve traditional marriage in the Bay State as well, as a member of the Coalition for Marriage.

Spokesmen available for interviews include:

-- Glenn T. Stanton, senior analyst for marriage and sexuality and author of Why Marriage Matters. Stanton has debated the issue of gay marriage on university campuses and is the co-author of the upcoming book Marriage on Trial: The Case Against Same-Sex Marriage and Parenting.
