New Millennium Research Council to Host Breakfast Panel Event June 8

WHAT: TRANSITION TO IP NETWORKS - The New Millennium Research Council (NMRC) will host a breakfast panel event June 8, 2004 at the National Press Club from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. (registration begins at 8 a.m.)

The event will focus on how to speed up the transition to Internet Protocol (IP) based networks and what this will mean to industry and consumers. Presenters will demonstrate cutting edge IP applications and how they can benefit consumers/end users, discuss how the nascent IP networks (e.g., cable, wireless, satellite, etc.) work and how they will interoperate, and offer regulatory views on how to make it all happen.
