
The Glover Park Group Announces Two New Principals, Expansion To New York Market 2/5/2003

The firm also announced that it has named Howard Wolfson as principal and head of the New York office and Lorrie McHugh-Wytkind as principal and head of the DC public affairs practice. Howard Wolfson joins the Glover Park Group from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, where he served as Executive Director. A native New Yorker, Wolfson previously served as communications director for the campaigns of Senators Hillary Rodham Clinton and Charles Schumer, and as chief of staff and press secretary to Representative Nita Lowey. Lorrie McHugh-Wytkind served seven years in the Clinton Administration, where she held a number of positions including deputy White House press secretary for media affairs and operations, chief spokesperson for Secretary of Health and Human Services Donna Shalala, FDA associate commissioner for public affairs, and director of the Department of Labor's OSHA public affairs office. McHugh-Wytkind also previously served as Senator Edward Kennedy's press secretary for the then Senate Labor and Human Resources Committee. Wolfson and McHugh-Wytkind join a team of seasoned communications experts with extensive experience in policy, political and corporate messaging.
