The American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) will hold its 30th Annual Meeting from July 30 - August 2 in the nation's capital. The Meeting will take place at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, DC (2660 Woodley Road, NW).

Featured speakers include U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Tom Ridge; Colorado Governor Bill Owens; former U.S. Congressman J.C. Watts, Jr.; Washington, DC, Mayor Anthony Williams; David Horowitz; and many others.

Over 2,700 people will attend this year's Annual Meeting, which has been described as "the largest gathering of conservatives held each year." Those attending the ALEC meeting will include state and national leaders, senior business executives, leading public policy experts, and members of the media.

ALEC is the nation's largest individual membership organization of Democratic and Republican state legislators.
