On September 9, 2002, the Migration Policy Institute and the Woodrow Wilson Center will bring together leading academics, practitioners, and advocates for a day-long conference on women immigrants in the United States, to discuss the unique characteristics and challenges faced by this often-overlooked, particularly vulnerable, and uniquely valuable group of immigrants.
