On Monday, Hans Blix, the chief UN weapons inspector, will issue his report to the Security Council on the progress of his team's search for weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.

As the Bush administration continues its military deployments to the region and key members of the UN Security Council debate when or whether a military showdown is necessary, two Brookings foreign policy experts will hold a conference call with reporters Monday afternoon to analyze the report, its effect on the Bush administration and the UN, and Iraq's likely reaction.
