WHAT: Release of State of Home Safety in America Study The Home Safety Council will release the dramatic results of the State of Home Safety in America study, joined by concerned officials from the CDC and Capitol Hill. WHEN: Thursday, Sept. 26 10 to 11 a.m. Breakfast hour begins at 9 a.m. adjacent to the site WHERE: National Mall (Northwest quadrant of Washington Monument Grounds by 17th St. NW and Constitution Ave.) Washington, D.C. Limited parking passes available on Constitution Avenue TV truck parking in Washington Monument parking lot The Great Safety Adventure (GSA) will be onsite and open for tours. The GSA is a traveling exhibit that teaches basic life skills to help children, families and communities learn about four important home safety risk areas: fire and burn prevention; falls prevention; choking, suffocation and strangulation prevention and poison prevention. There will also be a reporter briefing following this event at the National Press Club at 12 p.m. LUNCH WILL BE PROVDIED.
