-- Nation's high school principals call for increased federal support to assure "No Child Left Behind" at high school level

WHO: Alliance for Excellent Education (the Alliance), National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP)

WHAT: News conference to release a new report from the Alliance, "Left Out and Left Behind: NCLB and the American High School," and a presentation by NASSP of its Reciprocal Agreement, which calls on policymakers and legislators to policymakers and legislators to transcend rhetoric and provide the necessary funding for secondary school improvement. Panelists will discuss the serious fiscal crisis facing our nation's high schools, and the critical needs of our country's middle and high school students.
