Statement by Tommy G. Thompson Secretary of Health and Human Services On AARP's Endorsement of Medicare Legislation

AARP's endorsement of the bipartisan Medicare agreement sends a powerful message to America's seniors that this legislation takes health care for seniors in the right direction. We look forward to working with AARP, other senior groups and Congress to finish the job to provide more choices and better benefits for seniors under Medicare.
