Nov. 18 program on predicting Washington's weather

The Marian Koshland Science Museum will host a program on how weather forecasts are made, particularly for the Washington area. Participants will join NBC4 meteorologist Chuck Bell to test their meteorology skills by creating a forecast from real-world data. Also, Antonio Busalacchi from the University of Maryland will speak about climate modeling, including how climate change and variability may alter the region's future weather patterns.

The program will run from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18. Admission is $10 and includes light refreshments.
