A view from Tehran: Iran's perspective on national security

In the latest issue of Middle East Policy, Dr. Kamal Kharrazi the foreign minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran speaks about Iran's perspective on five salient issues. Stressing that the Middle East region needs a new security paradigm that takes into account the vested national interests of the countries, he specifically addresses Iraq, regional stability, reform and democracy, terrorism, and weapons of mass destruction.
